What to know before you book

How it works

1. Book your coaching course on the coaching site, then book your bike here for those dates — or book an off-site touring hire on its own.
2. Sign the hire agreement and waiver digitally at the time of booking.
3. Arrive at the property in Berry — we'll have the bike ready.
4. Ride the coaching day on private property with your MA-accredited coach.
5. Return the bike at the end of your last day.

What you need

• A current, valid motorcycle licence. LAMS riders are welcome on-property on the F 450 GS Trophy and CF Moto 450 MT.
• A full unrestricted licence for any off-site touring hire.
• Your own riding gear — helmet, jacket, gloves, boots. We can advise on what's suitable if you're unsure.
• Minimum age 21.
• Zero BAC, no exceptions.

Frequently asked

Do I need to own a motorcycle to book?

No. That's exactly what the hire fleet is for. Book a coaching course and add a hire bike for those days, and we'll have it set up and ready when you arrive. If you'd rather take a bike away and ride your own route, that's our off-site touring hire.

Can learners and P-plate riders hire a bike?

Yes, on-property. Both the BMW F 450 GS Trophy and the CF Moto 450 MT are LAMS-approved, so learner and provisional licence holders can ride them here during coaching sessions. A full unrestricted licence is required for any off-site touring hire.

Can I hire the F 900 GS?

On a coaching day, yes — and it's one of the best reasons to book one. A lot of riders buy a big adventure bike first and never get it off the road because nobody showed them how to handle it in the dirt. That's what the coaching is for. Bring a full licence and whatever experience you've got.

For off-site touring hire, where you're riding unsupervised, we ask for a full unrestricted licence and some genuine off-road kilometres first.

Do I need my own riding gear?

Yes. Helmet, jacket, gloves and boots as a minimum. Off-road or adventure-specific gear is ideal but not compulsory. If you're unsure what's suitable, get in touch before you book.

What if the bike is damaged?

The hire agreement covers this in detail, but in short: you're responsible for damage during the hire period that isn't covered by our insurance. We go through the bike's condition together at handover — both of us sign off on it — so there's no ambiguity at return. A $1,000 security bond applies to every hire.

Can I take the bike on a road trip?

Off-site touring hire is available for fully licensed riders. Add the off-site touring option to your booking and we'll talk through options, routes and logistics. The South Coast and Snowy Mountains are exceptional adventure riding country.

What if it rains?

We ride in the weather we get. Rain, cold, heat and wind aren't grounds for cancellation or refund — come prepared for the forecast. We only cancel when conditions are genuinely unsafe, such as lightning, flooding or fire restrictions, and then you get a full refund or a free transfer, your choice.

Can I add coaching?

Yes — book the course on our coaching site and the bike here. Same days, same property, same instructor.

Cancellations and transfers

• 14 days or more: full refund, or free transfer to another date.
• 7 to 14 days: free transfer, or a 50% refund.
• 48 hours to 7 days: transfer only, no refund.
• Under 48 hours or no-show: no refund and no transfer.
